ship ahoy

Oh heck I am running out of projects.
So thought I would have a look through my old scrapbooks.
I don't think this one has been shown before.
It was quite a simple one I used a kanban stamp set to stamp over the base card. The papers are Portabello rd and I gutted a piece of red card. The left over piece was used to cut my title using my Cricut.
I didn't have any bakers twine when I did this page so used string instead.

perfect

Another Pinterest inspired layout using Papermania capsule collection papers again distressed.
We are currently doing heritage layouts for our Tuesday crop.
There are going to be alot of browns, greens and vintage papers.
Unfortunatly I don't have many heritage photos so I am changing my modern ones to sepia or black and white instead.

I have found a few websites that do some lovely papers which I will tell you about later.
see you tomorrow.

Autumn

This was a layout we did in the Autumn I chose to do Loch Nor in Scotland as we had visited there a few years ago.
Hexagons are all the rage so this was my interpretation of that trend. the flowers were made using different dies and off cuts of patterened papers.

As usual the  orange mat was gutted and the hexagons were distressed.

Spring

The remit for this page was simply spring so anything that happened during springtime was o.k.
It was simple for me as we annually have an easter egg hunt have done since my own childern were little.
Last year was the first one that my grandaughter was old enough to really take part in. She decided that it was best to take her sit and ride toy to carry the eggs.

This was a simple layout with a couple of papers matted and layered a few flowers and some stamped and coloured eggs.

Sleep tight

So I have been mainly doing scrapbook pages of late this is another one from our crop.
I used bazzill bling in a chocolate and blue they really do look lovely in the flesh.
This layout was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest.
A great place for inspiration but I waste so much time pinning.

The cream strip was embossed with a butterfly embossing folder.
I the embossed a seperate piece of card and then lightly inked it to highlight the butterflies before I cut them out.
The leaves are a sizzlet die.
The ribbon is from stampin up.

Simple

This little A6 card is one of my favourite colour combos brown and cream. the stamp set is "feeling Sentimental" from Stampin up.
The card base was brown with a distressed piece of cream wood grain card.
The image was stamped in grey which gave a softer image.
The image is slightly fuzzy which is the nature of the stamp. There are 2 other stamps in the set a Penny farthing and a Ferris wheel.

Anyone for cricket

So I used that layout again.
This one was a small decoupage of about 3.5 inches square there were 3 to a sheet costing about £1.
With a bit of matting and layering the finished card was A5.
The blue was gutted to give enough paper to mat all the other bits so a cost effective card if you like making cards for charity.

See you tomorrow thanks for popping by.

Swing high

So I've been looking around at the latest trends and I see there are a lot of "chalk board" ides about. With this in mind I went of to bed and after being woken by this idea decided i must make notes on my phone!!
The next day I had forgotten all about it, until I found it on my phone again.

So this is it.
I cut the circle out of the 12 x 12 and then cut the circle smaller so when the bkack piece was stuck onto the back I had a smaller circle to put back.
The birds cage was cut from a Tim Holt die.
The bird was stamped from one in my stash it's a docraft one. The butterflies are stampin up.
The florish was hand made using a die cut florish and gems.
The leaves and flowers were die cut using a selection of dies.

Small and cute

This stamped image is a trimcraft one but which one?
The card is a small scalloped easel with "Xcut" flowers and scrolls.
the image was off set on the circle underneath.
I really think this is the end of the christmas cards so must find the others now and get snapping.

Snow way

Top note die is a great die and can be made to make tons of different cards.
This one is a simple snowman finished off with a snowflake.
Great for the kids to make or one for us to give to the kids.

Not much else to say about this one it was so quick to make.

Thanks for popping by.

No Christmas today.
This is a quick thank you card using my favourite colour. The stamp is "medallion" from stampin up I think it may now be discontinued.
The thanks was given to me by one of my ladies and I think  it may have be a die.
The butterfly was the first intricate die I bought and is blue. I think it's a "marieanne" but I could be wrong.
Finished off with pearls

Big cards!!

I don't do big cards!! but this one is 8x8 so I guess thats big.
The image was a "Tulip" one from Docraft coloured with promarkers.
I then used a mask from "Stamp away" and embossed the design around the edge.
Finished off with a little ink.
This was stuck to a large piece of black card. The dots are "cosmic shimmer" and the technique used here is paved stone as used by Sue Wilson.
The bow was tied and had a small flower twisted around it before it was stuck down.

Merry christmas

This card was inspired by one that Tim Holtz did awhile back.
the tag was made using the resist technique.
The inks were "artiste" from Docrafts. The flowers were poinsettia from "spellbinders" and then tipped and embossed.
The reindeers were "spellbinders" I used hammered card for this one.

Michel Powell

This cute image was a "Michel Powell" stamp coloured, glittered and die cut using "Xcut" postage nesting die.
The back panels were embossed with a snowflake folder and the bottom one was done using the "hougie board"
Finished off with lots of gems.

Snow much fun

This card was "snow much fun" to make.
I stamped 3 images coloured them all exactly the same. I cut a piece of white card 3x the length of one of the pictures. Rip at an angle and stamp the sentiments and images onto the card.
I matted as usual onto more card and stuck them to a DL scalloped card.

Pleasant poppies

Pleasant poppies is a beautiful stamp set from stampin up and this card uses a small section of the stamp.
The purple card was embossed with a diamond folder (can't find the name sorry)
The cream panel was embossed with a dotty design.
A scalloped circle was placed behind the stamped circle.
The bow was made with a piece of tulli

Ornamental branch

Another Christmas card.
The "branch" was. In a previous life a Docraft stamp with a poincettia. I cut this off!!!
Because it is a clear stamp I could see where I was stamping so I was able to join it in the middle.
Again the stamps are from Stampin up.
Another simple card that wasn't to bulky so would be better for posting.

Christmas!!! Never too early.

This little number is a card I made for christmas. It did include several masks to achieve this "layered" look. It was coloured with promarkers. The stamps are from stampin up.

Iwould like to enter this in the C.R.A.F.T challenge

This is a simple little number! I love these florishes and leaves and thought I would try and keep this card as flat as possible. So I stamped a music score in black.
Arranged the florishes and leaves I stuck them with the minimum of glue so they were still floaty. The butterflies are stampin up ones and  are shaped and stuck with a small amount of glue.

A close up of the florishes
