comic relief.

I like flowers on a page but I have never put this amount on a page before.
I wasn't to sure at first but I must say it has grown on me.
The photos were of my mum and my oldest children on one of the early red nose days.
Another of my oldest daughter and my granddaughter on the latest red nose day.
And then there's one of me at about 17 !!!!!
The journaling is on a tag which can be pulled out.

When we were young

What a cute pair!!! I found this photo in a pile of mums so a quick visit to my friendly lady at Staples and I too had a copy of one of the few pictures of myself and my brother.
Distressed squares and some small flowers finish it off nicely.

Days gone by

I was having bit of a sort out of some stash when I came across this paper.
It was from my stroking pile.
So I trimmed it to make the fancy border and gutted the outer block colour for the title and flowers.

Muddy Puddles

Ever time Paige came round all she wanted to do was try out her new Peppa pig willies.
However unusually it didn't rain.
Well that was until the week before Easter.
We went to Honeybrook farm and eventually found some muddy puddles in the car park.
So she spent a few happy minutes splashing about.

Garra fish

Sounds Fishy! When this fad first hit town I took Maisie and I off to have a pedicure.
The biggest rip off ever and of course I wouldn't have ever had it done if I had read the newspaper reports before hand.
The circles were made using white ink and a small bottle lid. there are some gems as well.

Picture perfect

My photography skills are not so good so when I get a good photo I do like to use it more than once for my demo or class pages.
This is one of those photos I have cropped it and changed the colour to black and white.
I love core ordination card stock so on this page I embossed and sanded it.
I punch tons of little flowers and arranged them on the page. In the left hand corner is a lovely florish die.

Childhood memories.

I know it's been a while but I have at last had a chance to photograph some of the scrapbook pages we have done in class recently.
This is one from our heritage class.
The photos were quite small so I thought it would be nice to group several together.
I have been watching Sunday Scrappers on Create and Craft and I was watching Mel and she was saying that scrapbooking is all about the story.
So I am really trying to make an effort to do some on as many pages as possible.
this isn't so easy if the photos are of family that you never met.
It is worth doing as much research as you can though.
Try using an ancestry website you can find out quite a bit if you have the time.
